Fillet Rolling Machines

Fillet rolling is used to induce compressive stresses in the area between the head and shank of a bolt to prevent fatigue cracking.

E-Tech currently have a range of four standard machines which are used by manufacturers of fasteners and other headed components particularly in the aerospace and automotive markets. Bespoke customised machines can also be supplied.

The machines are designed to be fast, easy to use and quick to set up. Consistent component quality is guaranteed by precise programmable control of rolling force, rotation speed and rolling time and by checking the actual rolling force applied on each component using a load cell.
